Thank you!
Nature Night was a huge success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from our sponsors, volunteers, members, staff, and the entire community. From laughter and games to music, art, and science, the evening was filled with joy and purpose.
Together, we raised funds to help keep the Kinni cold and clear! Thank you for making this night one to remember and for standing with us in protecting our beautiful river. Here’s to more nights like this!

Music
Chris Silver a local favorite, is best known throughout the country as a virtuoso flatpick guitar and mandolin player and can be heard at festivals, theaters, clubs, and radio shows across the globe. Formerly of the bands Stoney Lonesome, Tangled Roots, and the Kate Mackenzie Band, Silver has taken his Roots and Americana music to new levels through his solo appearances and shows his own band, The Chris Silver Band. Although he has a deep appreciation for traditional roots music, his sound doesn’t stop there. Silver’s music stretches beyond the boundaries of traditional folk to include jazz, blues, alt country, indie and classic rock styles. As a songwriter, Silver takes his listeners through a landscape of experience and place. His lyrics are thought provoking and his songs reflect a life that has been filled with challenges and rewards.
The Stump Grinders are also joining the Nature Night music scene! Matt Hafele, Ben Toppel, and Lance Hovland of The Stump Grinders will have you up and dancing in no time! Their sound is waltzes, square dance tunes, high energy, food stomping old time music.

Silent Auction
The purpose of Nature Night is to bring the community together to celebrate the beauty and outdoor activities you can do on the Kinni. It is also to bring awareness and raise funds to support the conservation work that the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust does throughout the Kinnickinnic River watershed. We are hosting a virtual silent auction that will run start on Saturday, September 28th and run until the evening of Saturday, October 5th. We would like to thank the local businesses that donated items and experiences for a great cause!
Located in River Falls includes 16 taps with year-round and seasonal beers, specialty infusions and barrel-aged offerings.
