Celebrate Earth Day around Lake George!

Celebrate Earth Day at Lake George!

Celebrate Earth Day on Saturday at the Kinni and Lake George!

Interested in finding out about:
-> Aquatic bugs in the Kinni?
-> Kinni water quality?
-> Urban stormwater runoff?

-> Kinni River geomorphology?
-> Hydroelectric dam?
-> Fly fishing?
-> Oil spills?
-> City of River Falls Trail System?

Take an interactive, self-guided walk along the Kinni and around Lake George on Saturday, April 22, from 9:30am – 11:30am. Visit 9 stations staffed by several community and conservation organizations to get your answers! You can visit all or select stations at your own pace. This is a family friendly event to share with your kids and grandkids! Tour maps will be available at River Falls City Hall.

This event is hosted by the Kinnickinnic Watershed Partnership as part of the 2017 St. Croix Summit at UW-River Falls. Click here for more information on the St. Croix Summit.
