April 29 KinniRiverCleanUp

2017 KinniRiverCleanUp

Here’s your opportunity to make a difference! Your participation is needed for our 23rd annual KinniRiverCleanUp at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29! Last year 140 volunteers showed that they care about the beauty and health of the Kinnickinnic River and we hope you will be part of an even larger turnout this year.

By Land
This is a wonderful way to explore the Kinni while collecting trash along its banks and making a difference to keep the Kinni cold, clean and free…forever!

By Water
If you’re an experienced paddler willing to clean up the river by canoe or kayak, please indicate that when you register. Kinni Creek Lodge and Outfitters is again generously volunteering the use of their kayaks as well as their staff and vans for this event. When you register, you must indicate in the Comments that you will be using one of their kayaks so we can coordinate with Kinni Creek Lodge the number of kayaks needed and the areas on the river to which volunteers are assigned.

Register
Please click here to register. REGISTRATION MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24.  Then, on Saturday, April 29, meet at Glen Park Main Shelter in River Falls, WI at 9:00 a.m. sharp to receive your map and assignment.  When you are finished, please join us for a lunch for volunteers sponsored by River Falls Rotary, The West Wind Supper Club, American Rivers, Bremer Bank-New Richmond, Catalyst Sports Medicine, Kinni Creek Lodge, Randy Cudd, Edward Jones – River Falls offices, Friends of the Kinni, Leitch Insurance Agency, Pierce County Democrats, River Falls Tire, St. Croix Gas, and Viking Coca-Cola.

For more details, please email us at info@kinniriver.org or call 715.425.5738.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
