The Kinnickinnic River Land Trust’s 22nd annual KinniRiverCleanUp was on Saturday, April 30, 2016. This year, 140 volunteers showed that they care about the beauty and health of the Kinnickinnic River by pulling a dumpster of trash and half a dumpster of recyclable materials from and around the river. We were pleased to hear from many that the volume of trash was noticeably lower than previous years. The Kinni is a cleaner, healthier and safer community resource because of these efforts. Each contribution was an important part of this successful event.

Keep an eye out for “Scrappy the Fish“, our fish sculpture who was dressed at the CleanUp and will be visiting different locations around River Falls!
