The R4F is the premiere fundraising and member event for the KRLT. If you have attended in the past you know how much fun it is for the entire family!

Doors open at 5 p.m. with
- local artists
- fly tying demos
- raffle prizes
- silent and live auction items. Click here for an idea of just some of this year’s items!
The main event starts at 7 p.m. and features several inspiring films highlighting
- exotic locations
- family bonds
- exhilaration of fishing
- exploration of rivers, lakes, seas and back-waters throughout the world
Each film has a running time of 10-30 minutes. Films are supplied by the I4F Festival (International Fly Fishing Film Festival), which is a new vendor from previous years. Also, our films are completely different from those being shown in Minneapolis!
Sponsorships: Be a special supporter of a special river and sponsor this event. Not only will you get free tickets, but you will also have access to a VIP Reception from 5pm – 7pm that includes free food and beer as well as acknowledgment of your support! To become a sponsor, click here.
The people who attend and participate in the festival are vital to this event’s ongoing success. Since its beginning, attendees and sponsors of the R4F event have contributed more than $50,000 with more than $21,000 raised last year. All proceeds go directly to the KRLT and help fund conservation projects, community outreach and services vital to maintaining and advocating for the continued health of the Kinnickinnic River and its watershed.
The R4F event has sold out every year – don’t wait too long to get your tickets!
All Proceeds go to the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust.
April 28 – KinniRiverCleanUp
Here’s your opportunity to make a difference! Your participation is needed for our 24th annual KinniRiverCleanUp at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28! Last year 140 volunteers showed that they care about the beauty and health of the Kinnickinnic River and we hope you will be part of an even larger turnout this year.
This is a wonderful way to explore the Kinni while collecting trash along its banks and making a difference to keep the Kinni cold, clean and free…forever!
If you’re an experienced paddler, you can also clean up the river by canoe or kayak. Once again, Kinni Creek Lodge and Outfitters is donating kayak rentals. You must be an experienced kayaker.
Please watch for registration information and more details coming soon!
